Who we are
We are Astrid Consulting. We are based in the UK with asscoiate consultants in Europe, Scandinavia and the USA. We are governed by UK law (though some of those consultants my be under different jurisdictions).
Messages and Communications
When You communicate with us through the Website or via other means we will save you details in our database. You can email us at any time to ask that we stop doing that. We will use the information to communicate with you during assignments and we may also send occasional marketing to you. You can opt out of the marketing at any time by letting us know.
Any opt-out will be for individuals. If you wish to opt out as an organisation you will need to send us a formal message, by email or post requesting this and stating that it is corporate/organisation wide and that you are autjorised to make such requests for your organisation.
Tracking
We may from time to time anable metrics tracking on our websites. This is purely to identify the effecient and effective running of the site. We will not use this data to track individuals as we believe that if the information provided is useful, you will contact us directly if you wish to engage.
It is possible that third parties (the metrics companies) may use this data for other purposes. We do everything in our power to ensure that the data they collect does not identify individuals.
Who we share your data with
We will share your data internally within Astrid Consulting and occasionally with other organisations we are partnering with to deliver services to you. If you feel that data you have provided to us is being misused by another organisation please let us know immidiatley and we will take action. We always aim to be transparent with you about what data we have, how it is being used and who jhas access to it.
How long we retain your data
We will maintain contact information indefinetely unless you ask us to remove it. Data related to any engagement will be retained based upon need (if we are providing ongoing support or expect to provide follow-up services) or based upon agreed data disposal frameworks.
What rights you have over your data
We are governed by GDPR but we are a security and risk company so we take your data extremely seriously. It’s your data. You retain ownership of it and we are holding and processing it for your benefit only (yes, even the marketing database). If you want us to handle your data in a certain way then let us know. We are nothing if not flexible!
Where your data is sent
If we have to send you data to a different country or jurisdiction (to where it originates) then we will ask your permission and you may refuse that request.
