Once we understand the outline of your project we will link you with a specialist in that area so that you can discuss it in more detail.
How can we be sure you have the right experience
Start by talking to us about your project. If we don’t think we can help then we will be the first to say so. We are also happy to talk about past projects our consultants have undertaken, some of which may be pre Astrid. Sometimes a single consultant will lack all of the experience needed to complete an assignment and we will talk to you about combining consultants so you get the service you need even if that is split across two or three practitioners.
How do you charge?
There are two common models we use. Time and Materials, where we invoice you monthly, and Fixed Price where we will undertake a project or deliver a product to your specifications. Typically we will charge you a percentage up front with the remainder upon delivery. For large projects we may ask for intermediate payments as the project progresses.
You may also have an option to engage directly with our consultants rather than going through Astrid. Why is that? Well, we like to be flexible, not just for our clients but for our team of consultants. Engage the way that works best for you.
How much do you charge?
Our fees are negotiable before we start any engagement. Don’t be afraid to ask, we can adjust fees to fit the circumstances and have even been known to complete work pro-bono in special circumstances.
Where are your consultants based?
Most of our consultants are in the UK but we do have people in Europe and the US. Generally it is best to get the right consultant regardless of location. Today’s modern communications make working remotely with your consultant easy.
Are you security cleared?
We try to ensure that we have consultants with security clearance on the team but this can vary. We would rather you focus on working with the right consultant rather than on a security cleared consultant. Many of our consultants are ex military so if you wish to sponsor clearance we are happy to talk…
